   Recently, LaMarsh & Associates helped a complex organization understand the importance of effective governance during change and assessed the risk and reward of having effective governance, and created a solution that fit their situation. This organization had many forms of governance and linkage to their Six Sigma projects, steering committees and sponsors. In the past, they had experienced mixed results with their changes, but they finally agreed that an overarching approach to governance was critical. The organization is now implementing an approach that fits their needs into the enterprise Program Management Office and is already seeing positive results and reduced resistance among targets of change.
