Biography
Rick Rothermel combines his knowledge of Managed Change™ with his expertise in human capital development, process definition and organizational performance. This unique skill set, coupled with strong business acumen, enables him to successfully counsel clients as they define and achieve the changes that result in long-term value and bottom-line impact for their organizations.
Well known as a Corporate Learning Officer, business executive, instructional designer and business leader, Rick addresses large and small groups nationally and internationally on the merits of well managed change and the critical enablers.
His participation in several national and regional manufacturing user groups and professional associations provides LaMarsh and Associates consultants and our clients with valuable insight into contemporary research initiatives, trends, and emerging business strategies.
Rick is able to partner effectively in the Boardroom or on the shop floor. He is currently managing several enterprise wide change initiatives providing competency development and consultative support to:
- Deploy Healthcare Strategy and Plan design
changes to salaried and hourly union
represented employees and retirees.
- Assess the quality and effectiveness of service
providers within several Healthcare Networks.
- Establish and sustain a Change Management
Center of Excellence and Program Office.
Rick is also responsible for establishing and coordinating the Master of Managed Change
Forum xChange user group for 500+ expert practitioners from more than 40 companies.

Background
Rick has been helping clients manage change for more than twenty five years. He has experience working in small organizations as well as multi-national corporations, public and private sector businesses, military and government agencies as they pursue improved business processes, implement new human resource strategies, change product lines, and enter challenging markets.
During his twelve years at Ford Motor Company and subsequent positions in other organizations, Rick has managed large-scale national and international change projects in the manufacturing sector including healthcare plan design and implementation, International Service benefit alignment, product and service global outsourcing, strategy definition and goal alignment, performance management, 360 assessment, employee recruiting, competency development, and reengineering.
