Biography
Herman Zwirn is responsible for the strategy, implementation and transfer of the Managed Change™ process, model and methodology during engagements in support of client organizational change challenges and needs.
Herman is a collaborative and innovative problem solver adept at developing and leading teams during large-scale, complex projects. He is strong in people management, cross-functional teams, communication, and the creative application of tools, techniques, and methodologies to derive new business solutions.
As a certified Master of Managed Change®, he has applied the LaMarsh & Associates process, model and methodology in change in a variety of domestic and global organizational change efforts such as enterprise safety, business transformation, compliance (i.e. Sarbanes-Oxley), organization design, reengineering efforts in manufacturing, information systems and finance, Supply Chain Management, Six Sigma, ERP systems and process implementations, union/ management relations, advanced performance development systems, appraisal systems, employee involvement approaches, team development, executive sponsor coaching, and enterprise integration efforts.
As an experienced methodologist, Herman integrates the LaMarsh & Associates Managed Change model and methodology, tools and techniques into existing project management methodologies. In this manner, the skills and knowledge needed to drive successful change can be widely deployed in project teams, ultimately building a permanent competency in the application of organizational change management.

Background
Over the last 35 years, Herman has held diverse technical, project management, management, and executive positions in a variety of industries. He has been responsible for both the social and technical implementations of large-scale, complex technology change projects, information systems, organizational design, and advanced learning and performance systems.
He is a long-standing member and leader of the American Production & Inventory Control Society where he is a national instructor as well as recent past president of the Chicago APICS chapter. He is a national speaker, providing thought leadership in the area of organizational change management. His certification in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) provides enterprise wide perspective.
