Learning & Skills Development Programs
Do your project change agents need to address the organizational resistance that may be blocking your path to success? Are you seeking a common, comprehensive process that all of your change agents can follow? Do you need to inject and integrate change management into your project plan to maximize your results? Do you need to select and develop internal experts who can lead the effort to minimize resistance and accelerate acceptance of your change initiative?
LaMarsh and Associates can help. As a project team member, sponsor, or person impacted by the change, we invite you to learn and master the Managed Change™ process, model and its tools and instrumentation. Once you have developed your skills as a Change Agent to effectively apply the Managed Change process, model and tools, you can hone your coaching and consulting skills by entering our "Masters" advanced learning and certification programs.
Managed Change™ Workshop
The Managed Change Workshop identifies the natural organizational resistance that typically stands in the way of successful implementations of change initiatives. With the concepts behind them, the L&A Facilitator then provide a thorough introduction to Managed Change approach, process, model and tools for minimizing individual and organizational resistance and accelerating acceptance.
Throughout this interactive program, the L&A Facilitator will lead the participants in practicing the application of the Managed Change model and its tools. At the conclusion of this program, all participants should be well grounded in the Managed Change process and able to begin applying Managed Change in their change projects at hand.
Six Sigma and Managed Change™ Workshop
Six Sigma is a powerful tool for creating important changes in an organization. It can be even more powerful when the Black Belts address the organizational resistance, complementing the DMAIC and DMEDI processes with a project change management strategy and a set of supporting change management action steps.
The Six Sigma and Managed Change Workshop provides the Black Belts and Master Black Belts with the same basic introduction to the concepts and dynamics of the change process as well as the introduction to Managed Change that is provided in our standard workshop program. Throughout this special workshop for Black Belts and Master Black Belts, the L&A Facilitator will present the alignment of Managed Change to the typical Six Sigma environment to them and demonstrate the value to the project of applying Managed Change to virtually every Six Sigma implementation.
Change Agent Certification Program
The Change Agent Certification Program is an intermediary skills development program that focuses on helping Change Agents develop their skills in applying the strategy, tools and tactics of Managed Change. Because each participant will have already been applying Managed Change in their daily work, we leverage their collective experience by focusing on their current projects. Competency in applying the basic Managed Change tools will be tested prior to certification.
Master of Managed Change® Certification Program
The first of three "Masters" skills and competency development programs, the Master of Managed Change Certification Program is offered for Practitioners of Managed Change whose jobs require them to:
- Lead the organizational change management effort on major projects.
- Coach others (Sponsors, Change Agents and Targets of change) on effectively applying the Managed Change process on change initiatives.
This challenging two-phased program provides the candidate the opportunity to:
- Take a deep-dive into the logic and methodology behind the Managed Change process from the perspective of the "Coach". (Level I)
- Demonstrate his/her competency in applying the Managed Change process, model and tools on a major project. (Level II)
Certifications will follow the successful completion of each level of demonstrated competency.
Managed Change™ Sustainability Evaluation
The implementation team is disbanding and the consultants have been sent home...
Before you schedule that party and begin celebrating, ask yourself the following question:
Will the change you just implemented sustain itself over time?
The Sustainability Evaluation—a package of change consultative services—provides you with a disciplined assessment and analysis of your new Current State,
and recommendations for sustaining your change. We will:
- identify opportunities to ensure that the change is truly accepted and adopted by your organization;
- identify the potential sources of resistance that may impede your progress in the future, and
- assess the change from a target's perspective (those who were required to change their behaviors).
Following the interviews, data collection and analysis, we will present our observations and findings with recommendations
to management for developing further action steps to insure that the change will be sustained and the benefits maximized.
Advanced "Masters" Programs
At the summit of our Competency Development Triangle lie two additional advanced certification programs at the "Expert" level:
- FacilitationMaster® Certification Program—this "train-the-trainer" program is provided for professional course facilitators who to desire to internalize the delivery of the Managed Change series of workshop programs for their organization.
- MethodologyMaster® Certification Program—some might call this program "Consultant-in-a-Box." This program provides the ultimate "shortcut" to accelerating the development of internal change management consultancies. LaMarsh and Associates is one of few firms on the planet that has packaged its proprietary application consulting methodology (the private methods and special application tools our Consultants use on consulting engagements) to be shared with client internal consultants.
